Celebrate 2nd Annual “April is Haddonfield Sculpture Month”

Help us choose a name for our new life-size bronze giraffe sculpture!

March 10-31: 

Name that Giraffe!  Submit a name for the life-size bronze giraffe coming to the Children’s Sculpture Zoo.  Limited to Haddonfield students and residents.

April 4: 

Meet the Giraffe!  2:00pm in the Children’s Sculpture Zoo at Tatem Park, Kings Highway and Evergreen.  Naming contest winner(s) to be announced with prizes including tickets to the Philadelphia Zoo, town-wide gift certificates, giant stuffed giraffe and more.  Dress up in costume and BYOG.  Face painting, stickers, masks, animal cookies and fun. Rain or shine!

Other Sculpture Month Events

April 4-25: 

Scavenger Hunt for kids and adults of ages!  Pick up a clue list at Inkwood Books, Haddonfield Library or Information Center – complete and enter to win gift certificates.

April 2:  

Make a Clothespin Giraffe at the Library – 3:30pm (Ages 6+)

April 3:

Toddler Giraffe Craft Time at the Library – 1:15pm (Ages 2+)

Space limited for each, sign up online at HaddonfieldLibrary.org

April 4: 

Mixed Media Giraffe Crafts from 10am-1pm at Markeim Arts Center.  For ages 3+ (parents encouraged to play; not a “drop off”).

April 25

Celebrate International Sculpture Day by seeing as many sculptures around town as possible and celebrate Independent Bookstore Day with the drawing for Scavenger Hunt winner(s) at 4:00pm at Inkwood Books’ new location, 106 Kings Highway East
